“ Went online to find a new "home cafe" and saw this small little place hidden away. Warm welcome on entry and seated straight away. Katherine the waitress is awsome!! Offered a drink and she was so lovely!! Latte was beaut* Food arrives promptly and piping hot! Love that options were Turkey bacon and beef sausages as I don't eat pork. Large portions so I was very satisfied. Will be coming again!! ”

“ A Pleasant Surprise Under New Management! I recently returned to Hazel’s Cafe on 19.05.25 and discovered it’s now under new ownership, operating as Blaze Kitchen. I’ll admit I was initially a bit skeptical — Hazel’s was a well-loved spot where I regularly enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and the occasional afternoon coffee with my better half. However, I’m pleased to say that Blaze Kitchen has made a great first impression. The menu has evolved in a positive way, introducing healthier meat options and incorporating Indian/Bangladeshi-inspired breakfast dishes, which add a unique twist. I was especially happy to see new additions like grilled kebabs and traditional "Chai" (Tea Latte) — a lovely cultural touch. That morning, I ordered the Big Blaze Breakfast, which arrived piping hot and generously portioned. It lived up to its name — well-cooked, not greasy, and full of flavour. A solid upgrade that still respects the charm of the old cafe while bringing something new to the table. Well done, Blaze Kitchen! “ Popped into Hazel's Kitchen this morning to try it out. Staff are incredibly friendly and the foods excellent. A wonderfully varied menu including options for vegans and vegetarians. Very different from your average cafe. The ability to be able to see the kitchen and my food being cooked is an added bonus. Also the padded chairs are a little touch of luxury. ”
“ Hazel's Kitchen is a delight. With it's beautiful interior which is incredibly comfortable and boutique chic, it makes for a relaxing and enjoyable meal. This literally has been my favourite lunch of the past 2 years. Hazel is so customer focused, truly warm and welcoming to all who visit. With an open kitchen you can watch chefs, see how clean amd professional this cafe truly is. There are no annoy egos, staff could not be more helpful. Prices are fantastic and the menu will suit everyone. Even down to the toilet, I just couldn't fault any minute element of my experience. So thank you Hazel and her team ”

“ FANTASTIC!!! I visited here last year but I messed up my edit so I’m posting it again. Lovely Hazel and her staff were so welcoming to us on our first visit. Very nice atmosphere - lots of special touches. We went for a full English breakfast for Hubby’s birthday and we were delighted. The food and drinks were delicious, and Hazel made a real fuss of us because of Hubby’s birthday - those extra little details and warm service make all the difference. But most important, the food was superb. We’ll definitely be back. We’ve heard the roasts are fantastic and the array of cakes looked very enticing. Thank you, Hazel & co. for a really lovely birthday brunch. ”
